By registering an account with Gamestuff.ca, you are expected to follow our guidelines and rules with absolutely no exceptions AND you are expected not to share your account with anyone else. The individual who originally creates the account should be the only one accessing it. If you did not create the account you're using, you shouldn't be using it period. By registering an account with us you understand that you are expected to know the rules. You also understand that any of these rules may change at any time. You and only you are responsible for keeping up to date on this.
Show respect for the forum staff. We are to help and answer questions you may have, not take abuse or any other complaints you may have about our site. We're easy going, we like having a good time, and we love it when people are plesant and abide by the rules. We are not here to knock heads with you, but if you choose to knock heads with us, we will show little to no sympathy. If we tell you that you are in violation of our rules, YOU ARE. This is non-negotiable, as we are the ones who wrote the rules in the first place.
Show respect for your peers. Insulting anyone is never okay. If you are being harassed by someone, do NOT harass them back. Let an administrator or moderator know and have us deal with it. If you take things into your own hands and harass them back, both you and the original offender are both qualified for punishment. No exceptions. Please just report the original offender instead. It makes it easier for all of us.
Do your best to form good sentences. When typing your posts, spell to the best of your ability and make it as easy to understand as possible. This is actually more of a guideline than a rule. We won't be playing grammar police, but if things get out of hand we will give you a warning. If our warning does not change anything (we won't take the excuse of "I didn't see it"), we will do whatever we feel is best for the situation.
Lastly, this is on the note of advertisement. Personal websites, cool links, etc.. Those are all fine.. Personal webshops, links buy/sell/trade accounts (ie. Ebay), auctions, product listings, business emails, etc are NEVER allowed. Do not try and be sneaky and try and dodge this rule. If we think you are advertising in any way shape or form, you will be punished accordingly and your advertisement (whatever it may be) will be removed. This is non-negotiable, and there are no exceptions. Please, do all of us a favor and just follow the rules.
